The Dhorparten Hunting reserve is one of the famous and only one hunting reserve in Nepal which has covered 1325 km2 (512 sq mi) in the Dhaulagiri Himal of western Nepal in Rukum, Myagdi and Baglung Districts. The Dhorparten Hunting reserve is situated at the altitude of 2850 to 5500m (9350 to 18040ft.) which offers you to witness 58 vascular plants, forest landscape, marshland, flat meadows, flowering plants including 36 endemic species, 18 mammal’s species like Red Panda, snow leopard, Musk Deer, Blue Sheep and so on. There you will also get chances to see 137 bird’s species including Cheer Pheasant, Koklass Pheasant, and Impeyan pheasant along with two reptile species and so on. This popular Dhorpatan hunting reserve is established in 1987 and its management team have put its objectives of the reserve which allow sports trophy hunting for the trekkers and preserve a representative high-altitude ecosystem in western Nepal. Dhorparten Hunting reserve fulfill adventure hunting desire of the Nepalese and Foreigner hunters who were getting chances to hunt Bluesheep, Himalayan Tahr and some game animal Leopard, Serow, Himalayan Black Bear, Barking Deer, Muntjac and Wilbour and so on however in the present, only four endangers animals are allowed to hunt in this reserve, they are Musk Deer, Wolf, Red panda, Cheer Pleasant and Danphe in this reserve.  This Hunting reserve has divided into six hunting blocks in order to make a best hunting trophy sport and end poaching and preserve a representative eco system.

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

As you will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you and drop you to your hotel where you can do some rest and relax. You will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Kathmandu to Pokhara and Darbang

Next morning, after early breakfast, you will take a flight to Pokhara which take around 30 minutes to reach paradise city Pokhara. In this Paradise city, you will witness stunning views of Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre(Fishtail), Himalchuli, Annapurna and so on. And you will head towards Darbang through the Beni, you need to drive along the bank of Marsangdi river which offers you wonderful pictures of the surrounding.  After Beni, you will officially begin trekking from Beni to Darbang passing Tatopani. You will stay overnight at Darbang.

Day 3 : Darbang to Lamsung (2160m/7086ft)

Today, early in the morning after having breakfast, you will depart Darbang and heads towards Lamsung which is situated at the elevation of 2160m. In Darbang you can buy a Nepali Khukuri because Darbang people are export to make a Khukuri, a popular weapon of Nepal. Lamjung is very famous for Lamjung Himal and a beautiful scenic surrounding. After you will reach to Lamjung, you will have an amazing close view of Lamjung Himal and stay overnight at Lamjung.

Day 4 : Lamjung to Jaljala(3430m/11253ft)

Next morning, after having breakfast, we will head towards Jaljala which is situated at the summit of 3430m above the sea level. Jaljala is a famous place of great significance in terms of nature, religion, and politics. Around six hours trail towards Jaljala lead you to witness beautiful grassland, wildflowers around the surrounding. Jaljala also offers you stunning views of Dhaulagiri, Sisne Himal, and other Himals. There is also one famous temple in Jaljala where you will get chances to slaughter Sheep and worship in the temple. You will stay overnight at Dharmashala.

Day 5 : Jaljala to Dhorpatan(2860m/9383ft)

Today, early in the morning after having breakfast, you will leave the Jaljala and head towards Dhorpatan, a very popular place for wildlife hunting. Around 7 hours gentle trail will take you to the attractive destination for trekkers and wildlife enthusiasts. Dhorpatan is filled with natural beauty with fir, pine, birch, rhododendron, hemlock, oak, juniper and spruce trees forests. It is also home placed to verities of wildlife like Himalayan that, black bear, blue sheep, ghoral, partridge, including some endangered species of the red panda and cheer pheasant. Among them you will enjoy hunting Musk Deer, Wolf, Red panda, Cheer Pleasant and Danphe in this reserve area. Beside this, you will also enjoy stunning mountain views. Overnight at Dhorpatan.

Day 6 : Explore Dhorpatan and trek to Phagun Phedi(3850m/12631ft)

In this day, early in the morning after having breakfast, you will explore the naturally beautiful Dhorpatan along with stunning views of Mt. Sisne, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt, Putha and other Himalayan range. After a lunch you will enjoy hunting wild animal like Musk Deer, Wolf, Red panda, Cheer Pleasant and Danphe in this reserve area. After enjoying hunting, you will trek to Phagun Phedi which is situated at the elevation of 3850m and stay overnight at Phagun Phedi.

Day 7 : Phagun Phedi to Gurjaghat(3104m/10183ft)

Today, early morning after having breakfast, you will return back to Gurjaghat which is situated at the altitude of 3104m. Around 6 hours gentle trek takes you to the Gurjaghat through the dense pine forests, with musk deer darting in the undergrowth. Gurjaghat also offers you stunning view of the Dhaulagiri entire range and Churen Himal in the west. You will stay overnight at Gurjaghat

Day 8 : Gurjaghat to Patichaur(2097m/6883ft)

After early morning breakfast, you will leave beautiful place Gurjaghat and heads towards Patichaur which is located at the summit of 2097m. Around 6 hours gentle trail will take you to Patichaur and you will explore the village and stay overnight over-there. 

Day 9 : Patichaur to Pokhara and back to Kathmandu

Today is the final day of your hunting trek, in this day, early in the morning after having breakfast, you will return back to Pokhara from Patichaur by tourist AC bus and you will take a flight for Kathmandu from paradise city Pokhara.  In the evening, you will enjoy farewell dinner which represents typical Nepali culture. In this way, you will end your trek today. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 10 : Final Desitination

Our tour comes to an end this day. A representative will help you to reach you towards your final destination.
