Sri Aurobindo Tapobhumi is situated in the iconic rural village which offers you peaceful Yoga and Meditation, Relaxation, and spiritual sharing sessions. During the retreat, we can enjoy healthy fire-cooked organic vegetarian meals with spectacular mountain scenery. Sri Aurobindo Tapobhumi has a school where around 100 orphan children are learning, there is also a sustainable organic farm from where you will get the chance to have a feel how farming is done in the remote areas of Nepal.

Providing education to the orphaned children is also part of this Ashram as every child deserves an equal chance on education while visiting the Sri Aurobindo Tapobhumi Ashram we can witness the classes and hold learning workshop with the children, this creates a strong bond and increases their curiosity to learn new and useful things.

Day 1 : Kathmandu Arrival and transport to Kathmandu Ashram

As you will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and he/ she will take you to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Kathmandu. After reaching into the Ashram you can be fresh and take some rest. In the evening, you can do some yoga and meditation. Overnight stay at Ashram.

Day 2 : Drive to Sri Aurobindo Tapobhumi at Gulmi

Today, early in the morning you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation then after you will have an organic breakfast. After early breakfast, you will take around1 hour minutes a scenic flight to Bhairahawa and drive from Bhairahawa to Sri Aurobindo Tapobhumi Gulmi. After you reach the Gulmi Ashram, you can do some rest and be fresh. In the evening, you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation and sound sleep at Ashram.

Day 3 : Ashram tour / lunch / farm workshop (mushroom garden)/ dinner

In this day, you will do early morning Yoga and Meditation and you will have delicious breakfast then you will explore the Ashram and have an organic lunch. Then after you will visit the farming land and enjoy planting with the native people. You will also observe cultivation of mushrooms and it is spectacular to visit the mushroom garden and learn to cultivate the process of mushroom in Nepal. In the evening, you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation with delicious organic dinner. You will stay in the Ashram.

Day 4 : Hike up to the mountain and perform yoga, lunch, visit the nearby villages (culture)

Next early in the morning, you will hike ascend to the mountain-top and you can do relaxing Yoga and Meditation and you will have breakfast. Top of the mountain offers you spectacular mountain vista and witness local settlements. And then you will return back to Ashram and have a dinner. After that, you can visit native settlements and learn their unique culture and traditions. In the evening, you will do gentle Yoga and Meditation and have organic dinner. Overnight at Asharam.

Day 5 : Forest walk + bird watching/ lunch/children school workshop

Today, you will do early morning relaxing Yoga and Meditation and have a breakfast. Today, you will go to visit forest nearby the Ashram where you can enjoy birds watching and encounter with verities of flora and fauna. Then you will return back to Ashram and have a lunch and will go to visit School where over 100 orphaned children are studying. Then you will have an interaction with the children and learn teaching and learning process of the school. In the evening, you will do gentle Yoga and Meditation and have organic dinner. Overnight at Asharam.

Day 6 : Drive back Kathmandu Ashram

In this day, you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation early in the morning and have an organic breakfast. And then you will end your Gulmi Ashram hiking today and you will be back to Kathmandu Ashram. Overnight at Kathmandu Ashram.

Day 7 : Final Departure

Today, early in the morning, you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation and deeply learn about yourself and have a breakfast. After having breakfast, you will head towards your final destination. A representative will help you to find your final destination.
