Perfect to visit the local Tharu culture this Ashram is based on community work and creates great relations with local communities. Our guests visiting the Terai Ashram can enjoy relaxing jungle walks and see various wildlife such as elephants, the one horned rhino and many more. Nearby is a place called Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, who preached of world peace through his meditation and dissemination of wisdom and kindness.
