Our Terai Ashram is located in the lush jungle of the Terai region, being secluded it is the perfect place to find inner peace and practice meditation. Located in Nepal a land of Gods and the birth place of Gautama Buddha, known throughout the world for trekking, culture and its geographical beauty. Our Terai Ashram is located about 200km east of Kathmandu near the banks of scared Narayani River. The Terai Ashram is famous for its organic vegetable garden and its cow pastures with over 100 cows. Perfect to visit the local Tharu culture this Ashram is based on community work and creates great relations with local communities. Our guests visiting the Terai Ashram can enjoy relaxing jungle walks and see various wildlife such as elephants, the one horned rhino and many more. Nearby is a place called Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, who preached of world peace through his meditation and dissemination of wisdom and kindness. In these days, doing Yoga and Meditation in the center which inherits the natural beauty and spiritual essence, along with the adventurous jungle tour it is one of the best places to visit. Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Ashram

As you will arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and he/ she will take you to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Kathmandu. After reaching into the Ashram you can be fresh and take some rest. In the evening, you can do some yoga and meditation. Overnight stay at Ashram.

Day 2 : Day 02: Drive to Terai Ashram from Kathmandu Ashram.

Today, early in the morning you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation then after you will have an organic breakfast. After early breakfast, you will have around 7 hours a scenic drive to Terai Ashram, a birthplace to Gautam Buddha. On the way, you will have delicious lunch and continue the journey through tourist AC bus. After you reach to the Terai Lumbini Ashram, you can do some rest and be fresh.  In the evening, you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation and sound sleep at Ashram.

Day 3 : Day 03: Lumbini visit afternoon body cleansing, massage workshop

Next Day, early in the morning, you can do morning Yoga and Meditation in the Ashram. The beginners will do Hata yoga and those people who already know about yoga, will do Nindra Yoga and then we’ll take an organic breakfast in the Ashram. After breakfast, we will have a sightseeing tour and explore the Ashram; explore the birth place of Buddha Lumbini.  In the evening, we have a relaxing Yoga and Meditation and enjoy one of the best body cleansing and massage before having an organic dinner in the Ashram.

Day 4 : Day 04: Farm visit and visit nearby village

In this day, early in the morning you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation and you will have a breakfast. After breakfast, you will visit Farming land and enjoy cultivating plants with the native people. You will also observe cultivation of different plants like Vegetable and fruits plant and so on. It is spectacular to visit the farming garden and learn to cultivation in Nepal. You will also visit nearby settlements and learn unique culture and their tradition. In the evening, you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation with delicious organic dinner. You will stay in the Ashram.

Day 5 : Day 05: Visit Buddhist Monasteries

In this day, you will do early relaxing Yoga and Meditation and you will have a organic breakfast. After breakfast, you will visit Buddhist Monasteries, various Temple and Shrines, Procession and devotional music. In the evening, you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation with organic dinner. You will stay overnight at Ashram.

Day 6 : Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu Ashram

In this day, you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation early in the morning and have an organic breakfast. And then you will end your Gulmi Ashram hiking today and you will be back to Kathmandu Ashram. Overnight at Kathmandu Ashram.

Day 7 : Day 07: Final Departure

Today, early in the morning, you will do relaxing Yoga and Meditation and deeply learn about yourself and have a breakfast. After having breakfast, you will head towards your final destination. A representative will help you to find your final destination.
